Strengthening the company’s IT management practices, Solaire Resort & Casino, the Philippines’ premier integrated destination resort in Metro, Manila, recently held an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Training under the guidance of SQME Professionals, Inc., the consulting, training, and testing arm of the IT-BPO company, BPSource Inc.
Led by Caesar Gilbert S. Buhay, a certified ITIL Service Manager and an EXIN accredited ITIL v3 Trainer, the attendees were equipped with up-to-date guidelines around basic IT activities and set of practices for IT service management such as efficient service delivery and transition.
According to Buhay, the training serves as an essential guide for managers to understand processes and procedures that are aligned to the organization’s core functions, especially those whose operations belong to fast-paced environments. Technology in this sector, he noted, “must always have the capacity to adopt to change and be consistent with the service or product they deliver top their clients.”
Recognized for his dynamic and strong IT service management skills, Buhay has conducted ITIL Foundation training to more than 500 clients in both local and international markets, with an average passing rate of 99 percent in all his trainings. Some of his most notable clients include IBM, HP, Thomson Reuters, ANZ, Infosys, Lexmark, Eastwest Bank and Alinma Bank.
